Romania seaside 2022 - the unknown

I am a sea type of guy. I do snowboarding also. But back on the beach now, it is lovely as long as you don't go in the crowded areas. As a raised on the beach kid I fucking love this place. I speak about the Navodari area. It used to be a small town, the industrial type having an oil refinery at 10 km away. Everyone worked on this plant. Nowadays everyone is complaining about the Romanian seaside: It's expensive, it lacks experiences, it lacks modern activities and many many more.  I do not complain about anything, I used to live here for 30 years and every year it's the same story. And every year, even so, being expensive and with all the bad things it's fully loaded with tourists, Romanian ones and foreigners. It will become a weekend attraction for the majority of tourists, but please stop complaining!  You are here and you come back often. Especially when you spend your savings for 4 days in Greece or Bulgaria and then you squeeze at least one weekend per month on t

Begginer drivers and company cars

How can I start this post without criticising and almost yelling? Now that I have said that I kind of spoiled the entire post...but there I go writing anyway. When you get hired by almost any company you receive a salary, a mobile phone, a laptop and a company car. This is ok when you are in the sales/operational department or any other office in which you have to travel often, during one working day.  But WHY??!! do you need a company car when you are just using it to come and leave the office for home? Just to let others see that you have a car and do not need to use public transport anymore? From going to the office by subway to driving a big sedan every day, this is a big win for some of you. This is so wrong and that`s why all companies rely on this tool just to make you a prisoner. Prisoner of a way better-looking car that you already own. Suddenly you feel the urge to drive a lot more, after office hours. Just add one more car into this day-to-day traffic chaos in town and into

This is the proper way to exit a company!

When you start a new job, everyone in that company is telling you how wonderful things will be now, that you are here. How did you come to solve all the problems that are and aren`t in your job description ☺ You are the baby Jesus that will save humanity…but wait, didn`t Jesus sacrifice itself for humanity first? Yep, we all know the story and this is how the cookie crumbles. The first weeks should be ok, in the 2nd month you have to put up a common-sense shield just to protect yourself from the task-throwing contest in which you are the main target. “Please, can you help with this little favour…it will only take 10 minutes”, and this is just the beginning. You are allowed to say “Sorry, I already have something to do at this moment and I have to deliver by the end of the day. Can I help you after?” and it can be a game-changer in your brand new role. You are polite and get to do what you were hired to do. Being polite is the key to your well-balanced life. Some people go to the office

Remember The Office?

The Office, that one place where we used  to go every morning 2 years back in time.  I know, you are thinking Oh, crap, just another click bait title :) But, in fact this is not something like this at all, just because it tells a real story.  I just got back to an old habit we all had, the morning routine of going to the office. I have now 2 weeks since this process started and I just want to go back home and get shit done. The Office is a whole floor in one big shiny building. For me is the 10th floor, an open space with a lot of people who each has some strange habits that I have to face each day. I wear a 😷 in the office, just an extra safety measure, not having Covid at all by this article is being written. Old team mates, new faces, new noises, new smells, new names to remember, new rules for every day life until 17:30 Romanian time.  If I get trough this first month without covid I am the certified survivor type. The Office is nice as a tv show, it's funny and en
