I had a wild-ish week-end with a group of male-friends :) It was a bachelor party, organized for one of our friends. The location we have chosen it is in the middle of a good old fashioned village between some large hills. Very picturesque, very quiet, very peaceful - you will not find it on Trip Advisor :) But you will find it here. So, back to the party that we planned in Casa Escu: 8 friends, sharing the same hunger for partying, sharing the same hobby for electronic music...except for me :)) I enjoyed it a lot for 3 days, but it is enough for me.
They even had Microlab speakers with a small mixer connected, headphones and everything they needed to play the role of a real DJ. Music was good, a lot of electronic and in between the boy's sets I had a chance to throw in some really cool hip hop. No DJ-ing for me, but I was ok just watching them doing it with real spirit. They were acting just Armin - this is one interview he gave for Cosmopolitan Romania - playing at Neversea in Constanta!!! :))
The living area in Casa Escu was the main stage for DJ-ing and drinking and playing Fifa 19. Just another party with the boys. Nothing extraordinary happened but we made it to be extraordinary. The barbeque spot was the second attraction of Casa Escu. The weather being very gentle with us gave us the pleasure to stay around the fire and...of course, drink a little bit more :))
We kept the drinking responsible every night until a little past 4 AM :))
This is why I named this article after the location, because if it weren`t for Casa Escu, maybe we would not be that happy after the party. It plays a very important part where do you choose to stay. The house is very cosy, warm and comfortable with 5 double bedrooms, with sofa beds in both living rooms, easily accommodates 14 people - this is copied and pasted here from the Airbnb landing page.
I recommend it if you come to Romania and just want to kick back and relax at a short distance from Bucharest and another short distance from the mountains. It really suits anyone for a nice holiday. The host was very nice, very pleased when we gave the key back. So, if you are around Bucharest, please take a couple of days off and visit Casa Escu in Bustenari village.
So, there you have it, one good solid location, a group of solid friends, a solid liquor shopping list and a solid liver :))
